The Tatra Production Company, New York, was created to produce a film based on the life of Ignacy Paderewski. Records (1919-1920) consist of correspondence, minutes, and stock certificates. Also included are a photograph of Rose G. Szewc and a manuscript entitled "Reflections on Friendship" and signed "Różański."

Szewc, Rose G.

Rose G. Szewc was born in Warsaw, Poland; her family came to the United States when she was four years old. Rose worked as a legal stenographer and, later, as a manager in the Ft. Wayne (Indiana) Department of Western Life Indemnity Company. She contributed poetry to the Indianapolis Star (ca. 1917). She became interested in teaching English and Americanization to foreign born recruits at Ft. Benjamin Harrison (Indiana) in 1917.
